We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Specialist to join our growing sales team. This entry-level position is focused on tracking, monitoring, and identifying RFx (Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quotation) opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen interest in sales, and a willingness to learn about the RFx process.
Key Responsibilities
- RFx Opportunity Tracking: Learn to identify and track RFx opportunities from various sources, platforms, and industry channels.
- Pipeline Monitoring: Maintain and update a pipeline of RFx opportunities, ensuring accurate data input and tracking key deadlines.
- Support Proposal Preparation: Assist in the coordination and preparation of RFx responses, working closely with sales and other internal teams.
- Market Research: Conduct basic research on industry trends and competitors to help identify new RFx opportunities.
- Sales Team Support: Collaborate with sales leadership to help align RFx opportunities with sales goals and learn about the sales process.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular status reports on RFx opportunities, including submission deadlines, progress, and outcomes.
- Documentation: Help ensure all RFx documentation is properly organized and complies with company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but any internships, coursework, or projects related to sales, marketing, or business development are a plus.
