We are seeking a skilled and innovative Technical Curriculum Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop comprehensive training materials and curricula for our technical products. You will work closely with subject matter experts and product teams to create learning experiences that help users acquire the skills they need to effectively use our tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop technical training curricula, including course content, presentations, labs, and assessments, that cater to different learning styles and technical proficiency levels.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and relevancy of the curriculum.
- Create engaging instructional materials such as video tutorials, e-learning modules, and hands-on labs to enhance the learning experience.
- Continuously update and refine curriculum content to align with new product features, updates, and emerging technologies.
- Develop assessments and certifications to evaluate learners’ understanding of the material and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure all training materials adhere to instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to maximize learner engagement and retention.
- Utilize feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve curriculum effectiveness and delivery.
- Maintain documentation and manage the learning management system (LMS) to ensure training resources are up-to-date and easily accessible.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Curriculum Developer, Instructional Designer, or in a similar role creating educational materials for technical audiences.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to break down complex topics into clear, understandable content.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, cloud technologies, or other technical domains relevant to our products.
- Experience creating various forms of instructional content, including video tutorials, interactive e-learning modules, and hands-on labs.
- Proficiency in instructional design principles and adult learning theories, with a focus on technical training.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online course platforms.
- Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and video creation/editing software.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience creating certifications or technical exams for learners.
